What Resta is

Software for running a restaurant: menus, ordering, kitchen display, billing. You use it under these terms; we provide it as described here and nothing more.

What Resta is not

We are not a payment processor for your diners. Money moves between you and your customer by whatever means you already use. Resta records what was owed and what you collected; it never holds your takings.

We are not your tax adviser. Resta computes GST from the rates and registration details you configure and produces invoices in the required format. Whether those rates are correct for your business is between you and your accountant.

Your responsibilities

• Accurate business details, including your GSTIN and applicable tax rates
• Accurate menu information, particularly allergens and dietary marking
• Keeping staff accounts current, and removing people who leave

Allergen information is entered and confirmed by you. Where our tools suggest it, those suggestions are unpublished until you confirm them, and confirming them is your responsibility.

Availability

We aim for continuous availability and design the product to keep working through connection loss. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee; when we do, it will be stated here.

Your data

Your menus, orders and customer records are yours. You may export them at any time, and if you leave you may take them with you.

Ending the arrangement

You may stop using Resta at any time. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for use that harms other users, with notice except where that is not possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
